Grammar is a word of ancient greek origin. In this video, Nate travels to Athens, Greece to visit Aristotle’s Lyceum – the birthplace of the origins of English grammar – to educate us on how the Greeks invented specific grammar terms to create syllogisms, or a system of deductive logic, to root out contradictions in language to find truth. We use the contextual origin of English grammar as the basis of our curriculum, for our beginners to our advanced students, to help them become critical thinkers and persuasive writers.
